Giving back to the animals that give so much.
The inspiration began with the passing of my dog, friend, family member, Whiskey. Anyone who has lost an animal in their lives knows the passion and pain that relationship can bring. I’ve always believed that we are brought to this life to help others, and that includes our furry and feathered friends. The original Black Dog Krewe was named after Whiskey, and my two grandpups Shelby and Poppy, but I wanted to focus on more than our canine friends. Thus it has changed to Black Paw Krewe and will focus on giving back to the animals that hold our hearts and the organizations that support them.
There will always be a need to help, whether that is through a monetarial donation or a voluntary committment. As part of HalfDog Publishing and Author Services we will focus on supporting animals and the people that love them through donations and services for grassroots, small organizations and nonprofits with a focus on care and sustainability of services.
